The numerous medicinal properties of rosemary

Native to the Mediterranean region, the medicinal plant rosemary, originally called Rosmarinus officinalis, belongs to the mint family and has various health and beauty benefits.

Fresh or dried rosemary leaves are a good source of vitamin C and they are also contain minerals such as potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, copper and magnesium.

Rosemary has numerous uses and benefits for your mind and body.

  • Boosts memory
  • Relieves stress and anxiety
  • Alleviates pain
  • Strengthens the immune system
  • Detoxifies the body
  • It also has antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties.

Rosemary is not only a great addition to your diet, it’s also used as a beauty remedy due to its anti-aging and healing properties. This medicinal plant alleviates blemishes and helps to create a natural glow. Furthermore it also helps to treat stretch marks, cellulite and dandruff.

It’s for these reasons that we chose to use this powerful medicinal plant in our WAY TO RADIANCE Profound Nourishing Cream Concentrate.

The skin can absorb this cream immediately and it penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin.

It leaves the skin profoundly nourished, which over time creates a healthy glow.

ZERO PALM OIL

More than half of the products in the supermarket contain palm oil and maybe even your investment fund.

It is very hard to avoid palm oil today, as it is included in food, cosmetics, detergents and cleaning products. Even a conscious consumer almost can’t avoid using it, since there is only an obligation to declare palm oil on food products. In cosmetics and cleaning products palm oil is used in a modified way and therefore gets a new name such as Stearate SE or Cetearyl Alcohol. All LE PURE products are palm oil free and we support campaigns such as Zero Palmöl and are listed in their product database.

Are you investing in palm oil without knowing it?

A new report by the Friends of the Earth US (FoE) states that some of the US’ leading institutional investors, including pension funds, are potentially fuelling environmental and social harm by ploughing billions of dollars into the palm oil industry through opaque financial arrangements.

FoE and As You Sow have developed a new database where members of the public can search for the name of their fund to see what palm oil holdings, and the value of the assets, are in the portfolio.
