Rosacea is a hereditary condition characterised by the appearance of dilated blood vessels appearing near the surface of the skin, reddening the face. People with very light skin are more likely to have rosacea as their skin is far more sensitive to external stresses (for example, weather). Symptoms of rosacea include red, hot, inflamed skin, and pus-filled red bumps. Rosacea and couperose differ in that couperose, whilst also characterised by red skin, is not inflammatory.
Apply VELVET HYDRATION several times a day in combination with SMOOTH ADDICTION onto the reddened areas. This will soothe the hot skin and reduce the red appearance.
